Lori is a medical research coordinator for Stanford University's School of Medicine and an active resident of Pacific Grove who participates in environmental organizations committed to research and education about our local wildlife. She volunteers with a Monterey Audubon Society program that monitors Black Oystercatchers that nest along our shoreline, and is a member of the Harbor Seal Survey Team that monitors the local harbor seal colony in Pacific Grove.
"I'm concerned about the environment and believe the amazing array of wildlife we have here is one of the city's greatest assets. I want to help protect this asset as a priority for the city government."
Lori earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from San Jose State University then honed her research skills at NASA Ames Research Center which she worked for 18 years before becoming a medical research coordinator at the Veterans Administration and Stanford.
"I want to bring my research experience to the City Council and help find the best solutions for our challenges. I want to support the needs of our residents, businesses and environment."
